The state-approved Nadia and Lili Boulanger International Centre
comes from the recent merge of the
Association des amis de Nadia et Lili Boulanger and the
Fondation internationale Nadia et Lili Boulanger,
both respectively created in 1965 and 1983.
Holding the moral and inheritance rights of the two musician sisters,
the Nadia and Lili Boulanger International Centre aims
to perpetuate their memory by trying to spread
as much as possible their works and archives.
the awarding of substantial scholarships to high-level young musicians studying in France and carefully [rigorously] selected in their respective disciplines – interpretation, composition and musicology – by an
international jury appointed for this occasion;
the organization of the Nadia and Lili Boulanger International Voice-Piano Competition,which takes place in Paris every two years and promotes
the selected singers and pianists duets’ career;
the preservation [the maintaining] of the links between all the people who,
in the world, are interested in Nadia Boulanger’s and
Lili Boulanger’s works and memory.
